Have you ever experienced that moment when there was something you wanted to do or even knew you should have done but there was something holding you back? Maybe you were scared, nervous what others might think, or wondered “What if I fail?”. Courtney, Little Brave Travels, got used to adapting to new situations and facing fears at a young age and continues to take the things she’s learned and apply them to her travels today. In her travel blog, she describes why being brave is so important to her and how we can show bravery in our lives as well:
“This world, now more than ever, needs a “Little Brave” all it takes is just a little. So go out, fight more battles, win more wars. Be a little braver than you were yesterday, and sit back and watch the world change before you. It’s never not going to be scary, trust me, it’s always going to keep you up at night, but bravery doesn’t mean the absence of fear, it’s the strength to overcome it.”
– Courtney (The Only Battle I have Ever Fought, The Reason for Little Brave – 01/2019)
“I was raised on the road, and have been traveling with my family since I can remember. traveling is in my blood. I have visited 13 countries so far, and more cities than I can count. Born in South Africa, raised on the plains of Botswana, and currently an Italy based traveler, writer and blogger. I teach English in Italy, as a way to support our travels around the world.
I got married at the ripe old age of 22 and within two weeks moved half way across the world. By the time I was 16, I had moved over 10 times, so I’m no stranger to being the “new girl”. I have spent my entire life traveling and I don’t intend to stop now.
I want people to live out their dreams, and broaden their horizons. Seek more, try new experiences, live a little.
Don’t forget to be brave.”
A Message from Courtney
Nice to virtually meet you. 🙂
I’m sure you’ve read about me by now but let me let you know, this traveling journey is only just getting started.
I would love to have you join me in my adventures around the world, the aim is to share the message of bravery and pushing out of those comfort zones together.
Besides, great things are always better when shared right?!
We can all use a ‘little brave’ every now and then.
Lots of love,
